Course Description

This 90-minute interactive session offers a strategic framework for developing a multi-year reconcilitation, anti-racism and anti-oppression action plan.

Attendees will consider strengths, limitations, and issues that occur during the RARAO action plan development process.

During this session, attendees will go through real-world case studies.  

The session content draws on Tomee Sojourner-Campbell's strategic advising and experience in designing, developing, and leading the initial implementation of Reconciliation, Anti-Racism, and Anti-Oppression Action Plans, as well as organizational learning programs, for Canada's largest nurses' union (68,000 members and 18,000 student affiliates) and Canada's largest film and television industry union (over 10,000 members).  The action plans and the learning programs are scalable.
