Understanding Guest Services Using TSC Inc.'s Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression Lens
Hotels, restaurants, entertainment and sports venues offer diverse groups of guests experiences that can be positive, exhilarating, and transformative. The hospitality sector strives for guest service and experience excellence. However, hospitality professionals continue to recognize that not all guests are treated equitably. A challenging reality exists for many guests from Black, Indigenous, Racialized and historically marginalized communities. They do not always receive the best guest care. This 60-minute asynchronous course focuses on identifying service gaps, limitations, and practical tips to improve guest services. Learners will work through challenging scenarios, and gain insights into using TSC Inc.'s ARAO Lens.
